A three-day training for the Initiative’s Access and Reading Coordinators on program management held in Kano from November 13-15, 2018.
The training deepened the understanding of the 20 local government coordinators on their roles and responsibilities towards sustaining the Initiative’s activities at local government and community levels in Year 4.
It was also an opportunity for project management led by the Acting Chief of Party Nurudeen Lawal to underscore the importance of monitoring implementation at local government level in coordination with government partners and civil society organizations.
A key outcome of the activity was the development of an action plan spelling out key tasks and activities to be implemented by the coordinators in their various local governments.
